These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of Kubebar ("the Software"), a desktop application for macOS and Windows provided by Marcel Gläser ("we", "us"), Germany. By purchasing or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.
Orders are processed by our reseller Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, and applicable taxes, and is the seller of record for your purchase. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to the transaction.
Upon purchase you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software. Each license may be activated on a limited number of devices, depending on the tier purchased (Standard: 2 devices, Power: 5 devices). The license is perpetual for the purchased version and includes updates as described on our website. You may deactivate a device at any time within the app to free up a slot.
A free 14-day trial is available before purchase. After the trial period, a valid license key is required to continue using the Software.
You agree not to: (a) redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Software; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent the license mechanism; (c) share license keys to exceed the permitted device count; (d) use the Software unlawfully.
The Software and all related intellectual property remain our property. These Terms grant you a license to use the Software, not ownership of it.
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Kubebar manages your Kubernetes clusters by running operations you initiate; you are responsible for the actions you perform on your own infrastructure. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any data loss or downtime resulting from use of the Software. Mandatory statutory liability (including for intent and gross negligence) remains unaffected.
Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.
We may suspend or revoke a license that is used in breach of these Terms (for example, sharing keys to bypass device limits, or in case of a chargeback or refund).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
